The genesis of Sea Grove Garden Center evolved in the Spring of 1978 selling Easter flowers at the Sea Grove Farm Market. That summer three of the Peragine children began to sell not only flowers, but local produce as well. The Farm Market became known as the Children’s market, and the local people all came to see the children then 11, 12, and 13. As all puppies and kittens grow up, so did the Peragine children, and so did the Farm Market. Sea Grove Garden Center was built in 1994 and it is still run by the Peragine family under the tutelage of Peter Peragine, Jr. and his family.
Sea Grove Garden Center today celebrates all the seasons. It has a full array of seeds, bulbs, spring and summer annuals and perennials, shrubs, flowering trees, fruit trees, as well as all the things to plant them, fertilize and mulch them. The Garden Center also has a full line of gift items, novelty items, flags, statuary, plastic, ceramic and clay pots. We have just about anything you might need including bird food, pond accessories and always with the personal touch to help you with your selections and you’re landscaping designs.
